I read this all in one voracious go--I just couldn't put it down. I love the snarky sort of belonging you've given Spike at W&H, I love his novel solution to his problem, and I was absolutely enamored of the tenderness of the first interaction between he and Buffy when they reunited and when she discovered his loss. The pain underlying that reunion was so palpable it gave me knots in my tummy, but you did such a lovely job of conveying both the hurt and the attempts to heal. And then here, to have Buffy come up with such a solution because she's so determined to not lose him again? Absolutely wonderful.

And this line:
"If you're about to tell me that I need a little monster in my man, or my man's little monster in me, or anything else that boils down to me being a horny sex fiend, I'm going to be very offended," she warned.
now owns me, mind body and soul, because HEE! Perfect, perfect Buffy.
